Pecha Kucha Night, Cincinnati

Pecha Whu? Don't worry, it took us a while to pronounce it correctly and we're on the steering commitee. Pecha Kucha Night (Japanese for the sound of conversation) is an event that has spread virally to over 190 cities across the world. Its unique format has tapped into a demand for a forum in which creative ideas can be shared by individuals across all disciplines, regardless of experience level or age. You get 20 slides and 20 seconds for each. That's 6:40 for the non-mathematicians. Do you PK? You should.

The beauty of Pecha Kucha is the inclusion of creative people of any discipline or experience level. Pecha Kucha Night Cincinnati will feature architects, designers, artists, writers, students, professors, scientists and many others. Anyone with an idea and the passion to share it is welcome to present, and everyone else is welcome to watch.

OFC created the brand identity, website and event materials for Cincinnati's Pecha Kucha Night. OFC Partner and Technology Strategist, Josh Barnes, continues to serve on the steering committee for the event, providing marketing and branding outreach for the program. The most recent PK night was held at the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center against a backdrop of the Shepard Fairey exhibit.
